Boys love super heroes. Even grown men can’t help themselves when Spiderman or the Hulk is on the TV screen. So, whether your son is 4 or 12, you could plan a great Super Hero party.
If your son favors the Hulk, you might consider using the Hulk colors (green and purple) as the overall party colors. Balloons, streamers, and tableware could all be colored to fit the hero your son likes best.
For Spiderman, you could buy spray confetti so everyone could shoot each other with fake webbing. Or, you could have a movie party with popcorn and your son’s favorite Spiderman movie on the big screen or projector.
You could have a super hero dress up party, for younger boys, and ask all the invited guests to dress as their favorite super heroes. Plan backyard or indoor activities that fit with the theme. For example, you can have a superman flying contest and see who can “fly” the highest in a rented bounce house.
Don’t forget to get a cake (or make one if you’re so-inclined) that is shaped like the head of your son’s favorite hero. It’s even more fun if the cake is dyed in the colors of the super hero’s outfit. Have fun with the planning and your son will be sure to have fun at the party itself.
